Flight Plan:

All shuttle missions have a flight plan. All of the people involved are very aware that success can only be achieved if everyone is conscious of the missions’ goal and is clear on their personal responsibilities for meeting that goal. We apply the same concept to an Information Technology project. While it is wonderful to have a "vision" of what your new system will do for you, you must make sure that everyone involved has the same expectation, vision and objective. This is the most critical part of the project. The "flight plan" will define goals, expectations, budgets, schedules & duties.
